Single wall & Double wall - What’s the difference?
A single-walled paper cup is made from one layer of paper, while a double-walled cup consists of two layers. The additional layer and textured pattern enhance insulation, protecting consumers from hot drinks. However, this extra layer also increases the cup's environmental impact.
A little change with a big impact
Manufacturing a single-wall cup consumes less energy and paper. Transport-related emissions will also be reduced due to the lower weight and more compact carton size of a single-wall cup.
