VST Precision Double Ridgeless Filter Baskets

Description

VST precision filter baskets ensure a uniform flow throughout, resulting in even extraction across the entire coffee puck. The holes are precisely crafted for consistent size, shape, and spacing. Each basket provides a constant level of resistance, promoting uniform extraction. This resistance is specifically designed for the basket's recommended capacity, whether it is 18g, 20g, 22g, or more. This feature allows you to use a larger 20-gram or 22-gram basket without adjusting your grind coarseness, maintaining a similar flow rate. Grinding too coarsely can cause under-extraction and undesirable acidity, which we aim to avoid.

• 100% of holes are measured on every filter for minimum and maximum range limits on area and diameter

• All holes are measured for circularity, placement, square area and blocked holes.

• Filters are matched for total square opening to +/- 5% to ensure identical group-to-group performance (typical filters vary from - 50 to +100%)

Notes

• Please check the measurements of your current baskets and handles to ensure correct fitting.  Some portafilters are not deep enough for a VST basket.

• Ridgeless baskets do not have a locating ridge.
