VST Precision Double Ridged Filter Baskets

Description

VST precision filter baskets provide uniform flow across the basket resulting in even extraction across the entire coffee puck.  The holes in the basket are precision made for consistent size, shape and spacing.  The total resistance offered by each basket is constant for even extraction across all groups.  The resistance is also explicitly designed for the recommended capacity of the basket - 18g, 20g, 22g etc.  This critical feature allows you to fit a larger 20-gram or 22-gram basket without needing to adjust your grind courser to maintain a similar flow rate.  Grinding courser can lead to under extraction and acidity we want to avoid.

• 100% of holes are measured on every filter for minimum and maximum range limits on area and diameter

• All holes are measured for circularity, placement, square area and blocked holes.

• Filters are matched for total square opening to +/- 5% to ensure identical group-to-group performance (typical filters vary from - 50 to +100%)

Notes

• Please check the measurement of your current baskets and handles to ensure correct fitting.  Some portafilters are not deep enough for a VST basket.
