Red Titanium Burrs
Our DF64 Gen II grinders now feature Red Titanium (AlTiN) burrs. These stainless steel burrs are coated with Aluminium Titanium Nitride, a durability-focused coating that enhances hardness and wear resistance, helping the burr edges maintain their shape for longer. The result is more consistent performance over time and a longer service life compared to standard uncoated stainless steel burrs.
Grind Size
The DF64 Coffee Grinder offers a wide, stepless grind range suitable for everything from espresso to filter brewing. It can grind from about 180 µm (finest) to 1000 µm (coarsest), giving precise control for various brewing methods. The settings below suggest practical starting points for common brew styles.
