The Ascaso Steel Duo PID is a dual thermo-block espresso machine with electronic temperature control.  The machine is ready to use from turn on in 2 minutes, making it ideal for your morning coffee.  The thermo-blocks provide temperature stability for your shots and continuous steam pressure using 35 - 75% less energy than boiler machines.  With an attractive stainless steel cabinet in black, and at just 270mm wide, the Ascaso Steel Duo is ideal for the home barista.

Benefits in detail 

Thermodynamic group

Thermal stability is achieved using a large thermal mass lead-free brass boiler insulated on all surfaces.  Heat is transferred to the group directly from the top-mounted thermoblock. The temperature is monitored and controlled to within 1.5 deg by a sensor in the group.

 

Thermo-block

Made from aluminium with an AISI316 stainless steel water circuit, the thermo-block provides a fast 2 min heat-up time, fresh water for every shot as boiler stored water is not re-heated, temperature stability from the electronically controlled water path, constant steam pressure and reduced lime-scale build-up.
