8 min
Heat-up time
Rocket's FAST system builds a heating element into the E61 group itself, so the Giotto is ready in about 8 minutes instead of the 20 to 30 minutes a classic heat-exchange machine takes.
Rotary pump
Quiet, and ready to plumb in
A rotary pump runs quieter than the vibration pumps in most home machines. Run it from the 1.8 L tank, or plumb it straight into your water supply.
Angled panels
Redrawn for FAST
The Giotto's signature angled side panels, redrawn for the FAST generation in stainless steel, with smoother steam and hot water valves for finer control.
1.8 L
Heat-exchange boiler
A 1.8 L heat-exchange boiler lets you pull a shot and steam milk at the same time, with PID control on the steam side.

Description
The Rocket Giotto FAST R is the rotary pump version of Rocket's classic Giotto. It keeps the angled stainless steel side panels the Giotto has carried for more than twenty years and adds Rocket's FAST heating platform, so the machine is ready to brew about 12 minutes after you switch it on.
Under the panels it shares its engine with the Mozzafiato FAST R: a 1.8 litre insulated copper heat exchange boiler with PID steam control, a new style E61 group, a 58 mm commercial portafilter and a quiet rotary pump that runs from the 1.8 litre tank or plumbs straight into your mains water. A digital shot timer and brew and steam gauges give you the numbers you need to dial in, and the cool touch wand and hot water outlet handle milk and long blacks.
What sets the Giotto apart from the Mozzafiato is the shape. The sloped panels make it the wider machine at 340 mm across, with a lower 403 mm profile, and it comes in polished stainless steel only. Choose the Giotto if you want the original Rocket silhouette on your bench. If you need a narrower footprint or a black finish, the Mozzafiato FAST R has the same boiler, pump and group in a 315 mm wide flat sided body.
Every Giotto FAST R is built in Milan and covered by a 24 month manufacturer's warranty. The box includes a plumbing kit, so you can start on the tank and plumb in later.
