8 min
Heat-up time
Unlike the Pro 600 it replaces, the RIDE heats both boilers at once. With fast heating on, it is ready in about 8 minutes, with steadier steam pressure and coffee temperature.
Dual boiler
0.75 L coffee, 1 L steam
Two PID-controlled stainless steel boilers feed an E61 group with a stainless mushroom, with a quiet vibration pump running from the 2.8 L tank.
OLED control
Every setting in one place
Set boiler temperatures, schedule up to two on/off times a day, and use ECO and fast heat-up modes, with a shot clock and cleaning reminders built in.
New look
Black with a brushed steel front
A black powder-coated housing and brushed steel front plate give the RIDE a contemporary look, and the joystick and portafilter handles can be swapped for wood accents.

Description
The Profitec RIDE is the successor to the Profitec Pro 600. Designed and built in Germany, the RIDE is a dual-boiler machine with a quiet vibration pump powered by the built-in water tank.
The new integrated OLED PID control system enables you to set boiler temperatures, program pre-infusion, schedule up to 2 on/off times for each day of the week, activate an ECO mode, receive a cleaning reminder, and utilise the fast heat-up mode. It also features a shot clock to time your espresso shots.
The biggest improvement from the Pro 600 is the RIDE's ability to heat the brew and steam boilers simultaneously, resulting in a significantly faster heat-up time (about 12 to 13 minutes with fast heating on) and more consistent steam pressure and coffee temperature.
Profitec has also refreshed the look. The RIDE features a black powder-coated housing and a brushed steel front plate for a sleek, contemporary appearance. The bakelite joystick valve and portafilter handles can easily be swapped for wood accents, enhancing the machine's style.
