Small enough for most benches
At 22.8 × 37.2 × 44.8 cm (W × H × D), the Pro 400 fits an E61 group and a 1.6 L boiler on a small bench, and brews and steams at the same time.
Dual gauges
Boiler and brew pressure in view
Boiler and pump pressure gauges are always in view, so you can check your brewing pressure and adjust steam pressure when needed.
3 settings
Temperature at the flick of a switch
A switch beneath the machine selects one of three preset temperatures to suit your beans or boost steam pressure, and turns pre-infusion and ECO mode on or off.
Flow control
An option for profiling shots
Profitec's optional flow control kit fits the E61 group. Turn its knob during a shot to change the flow of water and shape every extraction.
E61 group
Pre-infusion built in
The E61 group gives the thermal stability great espresso needs, and its pre-infusion wets the coffee at lower pressure so it expands evenly in the basket.

Description
The Profitec Pro 400 espresso machine is a heat-exchange model designed and built in Germany by Profitec. The Pro 400 features a 1.6-litre stainless steel boiler, an Ulka EX5 vibration pump, and the E61 group head. A switch located underneath the machine allows you to select from three preset temperatures and to turn pre-infusion and ECO mode on or off. The Pro 400 operates with a built-in 2.8-litre water tank. With the ability to brew the perfect espresso and steam milk simultaneously, the Pro 400 is a very compact, semi-commercial machine suitable for the home.
