Description

The Profitec DRIVE is the successor to the Profitec Pro 700. Designed and built in Germany, the DRIVE is a dual-boiler machine with a rotary pump that can be operated from the built-in water tank or connected to plumbing. The new integrated OLED PID control system allows you to set boiler temperatures, program pre-infusion, set up to 2 on/off times for each day of the week, set an ECO mode, a cleaning reminder, and a fast heat-up mode. It also provides a shot clock to time your espresso shots. The Drive also features a flow control valve for flow rate profiling during coffee extraction.

Joystick valves

Joy-stick-operated spring-loaded long-life non-compression steam and hot water valves are easy to operate and have a long working life. 

Flow control valve

The flow control valve allows you to adjust the water pressure applied to the coffee throughout the extraction process for optimal results. 

OLED control centre

The control centre includes PID temperature control, pre-infusion, a fast heat-up mode, on-off times, ECO mode, a cleaning reminder, and a shot clock.

Dual pressure gauges

The pressure gauges display the steam pressure for steaming milk and the brewing pressure during coffee extraction.
