VST Precision Double Ridged Filter Baskets

Description

VST precision filter baskets ensure a uniform flow throughout the basket, leading to even extraction across the entire coffee puck. The holes in each basket are precisely made for consistent size, shape, and spacing. Each basket offers a constant level of resistance that promotes even extraction across all groups. This resistance is specifically designed for the recommended capacities of each basket: 18g, 20g, 22g, and so on. This important feature allows you to use a larger 20-gram or 22-gram basket without needing to adjust your grind size to maintain a similar flow rate. Adjusting the grind size can result in under-extraction and unwanted acidity, which we aim to avoid.

• 100% of holes are measured on every filter for minimum and maximum range limits on area and diameter

• All holes are measured for circularity, placement, square area and blocked holes.

• Filters are matched for total square opening to +/- 5% to ensure identical group-to-group performance (typical filters vary from - 50 to +100%)

• Please check the measurements of your current baskets and handles to ensure correct fitting.  Some portafilters are not deep enough for a VST basket.
