Rental Agreement

1. Ownership. The equipment remains the property of My Coffee Shop.

2. Service. My Coffee Shop will service the machine every 8 months (over 15,000 coffees a year) or every 12 months (fewer), and clean and inspect it every 4 months. It will repair faults by the next business day, on site or by collecting the machine and lending one of the same or a newer model. Work is done between 9 am and 4 pm on business days. Labour, parts and travel within 50 km of the CBD are included.

3. Charged call-outs. Call-outs caused by misuse, poor cleaning, foreign objects in the grinder, disconnected power or water, pests, accidents, third-party damage, damaged panels or trays, or repairs by anyone else are charged at standard rates.

4. Coffee. The Customer will buy coffee beans and cleaning products for the machine only from My Coffee Shop.

5. Customer's care. The Customer will keep the equipment at the Schedule 1 address, clean it as shown at installation, and insure it against loss and damage (the Customer pays any excess).

6. Rent. Rent starts when the free trial ends. The first two months are invoiced then, and rent is invoiced monthly after that, payable within 7 days of the invoice. If rent is more than 30 days overdue, My Coffee Shop may collect the equipment after 7 days' written notice.

7. Ending the agreement. The Customer may end this agreement with 30 days' written notice; rent for the notice period is payable, and My Coffee Shop collects the equipment at no further cost. My Coffee Shop may end it if the Customer breaches clause 4 or 5 and doesn't fix the breach within 14 days, or if the Customer sells or closes the business or becomes insolvent (which the Customer must tell My Coffee Shop about within 5 business days).

8. Collection. When the agreement ends, the Customer will give access at an agreed time to collect the equipment.

9. Transfer. My Coffee Shop may transfer this agreement on 30 days' written notice.
