Description
The Profitec Pro 500 PID espresso machine is a heat-exchange model designed and manufactured by Profitec in Germany. The latest version features an updated PID display on the front of the machine. The display lets you monitor the boiler temperature and includes a shot timer to track your espresso pour. You can also customise settings such as the programmable eco mode and backflush reminders.
The Pro 500 features a 2.1-litre stainless-steel boiler, an Ulka EX5 vibration pump, and the renowned E61 group head. You can adjust the steam pressure up to 1.8 BAR, producing perfectly silky milk. The recalibrated heat exchanger maintains brew water at an ideal 93 degrees Celsius. This combination delivers strong steam pressure while preserving the optimal brewing temperature.
The Pro 500, operating from a built-in 3-litre water tank, brews excellent espresso and steams milk simultaneously, making it an ideal compact semi-commercial machine for home use or small offices.
