Description
The Profitec Pro 400 espresso machine is a heat-exchange model designed and built in Germany by Profitec. The Pro 400 features a 1.6-litre stainless steel boiler, an Ulka EX5 vibration pump, and the E61 group head. A switch located underneath the machine allows you to select from three preset temperatures and to turn pre-infusion and ECO mode on or off. The Pro 400 operates with a built-in 2.8-litre water tank. With the ability to brew the perfect espresso and steam milk simultaneously, the Pro 400 is a very compact, semi-commercial machine suitable for the home.

Temperature control
A switch beneath the machine lets you choose from three preset temperatures to match your coffee beans or boost the steam pressure after brewing. The switch also turns the pre-infusion and ECO modes on or off.
E61 Group head
The E61 group head is made from 4kg of chrome-plated brass. It provides excellent thermal stability, which is vital for great espresso. The E61 passive pre-infusion system gently infuses your ground coffee with hot water at a lower pressure, allowing the coffee to expand uniformly in the basket for superior extraction.
Dual pressure gauges
The dual gauge allows you to monitor the boiler and pump pressures at all times, making it easy to determine the brewing pressure and adjust the steam pressure when needed.
