Each Bialetti Smart French Press comes with a 100g packet of Bialetti ground coffee.
1. Using a scale, weigh 60 - 70 grams of coffee beans per litre of water. For best results, grind fresh coffee beans to a medium grind.
2. Add near-boiling water. For best results, use filtered water.
3. Let it sit for 4 minutes.
4. Stir the crust with a teaspoon and remove any foam and floating coffee grounds from the surface of the coffee.
5. For a stronger coffee, let it sit for a further 5 - 8 minutes. Sit longer for more strength.
6. Plunge the filter down until it just rests on top of the coffee grounds.
7. Pour your coffee and enjoy.
The Bialetti smart french press is dishwasher safe. Alternatively, you can handwash it with soap and water and leave it to dry thoroughly.
