Preventative Servicing

Preventive servicing enhances the performance and reliability of your machine, while significantly extending its working life. We recommend servicing your home coffee machine every 24 months.

Why Servicing Matters:
Regular maintenance does more than just keep your machine running—it dramatically improves the taste of your coffee by ensuring optimal extraction temperature and pressure. More importantly, servicing allows our technicians to catch developing issues before they become serious problems. We often identify components that are wearing out but haven’t failed yet, preventing surprise breakdowns that would leave you without your espresso machine for days.
Pricing: Service pricing is model-dependent, ranging from $195 - $220, and includes a $200 pre-approval amount for any repair parts required outside the standard service. All jobs include a $77 initial assessment fee, which is deducted from your final invoice.
Turnaround Time: 5 working days
Warranty: All servicing and repairs include a 12-month back-to-base warranty on replaced parts. If your machine has issues related to previous work performed within the last 12 months, the repair will be fully covered.
Repairs
When your machine breaks down, we provide a fast and professional repair service to get you back to brewing quickly. We repair domestic coffee machines and manual espresso machines at our service centres in Abbotsford and Pyrmont.

Our Repair Process:
When you book a repair, you provide a pre-approval for $265. Once you bring your machine in, one of our technicians will assess your machine to determine what’s required. If the parts and labour costs fall under the pre-approval, we complete the repair immediately. If the repair will exceed the pre-approval amount, we will contact you with a detailed quote before proceeding with any work, to ensure you’re never surprised by unexpected costs.
Like our servicing, all repairs include an upfront assessment fee of $77, which is refunded upon completion of the job. In cases where the issue is a simple fix requiring no parts, we complete the work and charge only the $77 assessment fee—no additional charges apply.

We recommend servicing your Lelit, Profitec or Expobar manual machine every 24 months with regular home use. Regular servicing improves coffee taste by ensuring optimal temperature and pressure, while catching developing issues before they become serious problems that leave you without your machine.
What machines do you service?
We service manual home espresso machines from Lelit (all manual and semi-automatic models), Profitec (all manual E61 heat exchanger and dual boiler models), and Expobar manual machines. We also service automatic commercial machines, but not automatic domestic machines. For Jura automatic machines, contact the Jura Hospitality Centre in Hawthorn East, Melbourne.
How much does coffee machine servicing cost?
Servicing starts from $195 inc GST (model dependent), plus a $200 inc GST pre-approval for any repair or major service parts needed. All jobs include a $77 inc GST assessment fee, deducted from your final invoice. If repair costs exceed the pre-approval, we contact you for approval before proceeding with work.
How long does a service or repair take?
Both servicing and repairs have a 5 working day turnaround time. We aim to complete work efficiently while maintaining quality standards. You'll be contacted when your machine is ready for pickup. We aim to complete assessment same-day or next business day.

My machine is leaking water—can you fix it?
Yes. Leaking water is one of the most common issues we repair, typically caused by worn seals, cracked hoses, or faulty fittings. Most leak repairs are straightforward. Bring your machine to either our Abbotsford or Pyrmont service center for assessment. You can also visit our troubleshooting page to check for help with common issues like low steam pressure and low flow.
Can I just drop off my machine without booking?

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards with no surcharge for American Express.
Why does servicing improve coffee taste?
Regular servicing dramatically improves coffee taste by ensuring optimal extraction temperature and pressure through deep cleaning, seal replacement, and calibration. Worn seals impact pressure, and dirty group heads contaminate flavour. Fresh components restore your machine to factory performance standards. To maintain your coffee taste outside of servicing make sure to back flush the group head with water after each day and with espresso cleaner weekly.

Yes, we use manufacturer-genuine parts for all Lelit, Profitec and Expobar repairs and servicing. Genuine parts meet exact specifications and ensure your machine performs as designed. All replaced parts are covered under our 12-month back-to-base warranty.
