Benefits in detail
E61 Group head
The famous E61 commercial group head made from 4kg of chrome-plated brass provides excellent thermal stability for great espresso. The double probe system keeps the brewing temperature constant in coffee mode, avoiding overheating typically associated with classical HX systems.
Dual pressure gauges
The double-pressure gauges allow you to monitor the steam boiler and coffee brewing pressure from pre-infusion to final extraction.
Spring-loaded, long-life, non-compression steam and hot water valves are easy to operate and have a long working life.
Coffee / Steam modes
The PID control system uses two temperature probes to monitor the steam boiler and thermosyphon temperatures two times per second. The automatic control system, combined with user selection switches, allows you to select mode 0 (Coffee mode), ideal for making black coffees or mode 1 (Steam boost mode), ideal for milk coffees.
