Description

Cafetto espresso clean is a rapidly dissolving soluble and free-rinsing formulation that removes coffee oils, grounds and stains from espresso machine group heads, portafilters and filter baskets.

1. Remove coffee filter from group handle & replace with “blind” filter.

2. Add one sachet of Espresso Clean® to the blind filter & insert as if brewing espresso.

3. Start cycle & allow to run for 10 seconds to dissolve cleaner.

4. Stop cycle & allow to sit for 10 seconds.

5. Start & stop cycle 4 more times - run for 10 seconds, stop for 10 seconds.

6. Remove the group handle and clean the group head sieve and seal with a cleaning brush.

7. Rinse the group handle well under a stream of water from the group. Turn off.

8. Re-insert handle with blind filter, start & stop cycle 10 times - run for 5 seconds, stop for 2 seconds to ensure thorough rinsing.

9. Remove blind filter & insert regular filter.

10. Brew & discard a single espresso to re-season the machine.

Cleaning group handle & coffee filter

1. Dissolve one Espresso Clean® sachet in 500ml of hot water.
2. Soak group handles & filters for 10 minutes.
3. Rinse thoroughly in running hot water.
