Description

The Profitec Pro 600 espresso machine is a dual boiler machine with PID temperature control designed and built by Profitec in Germany. The Pro 600 has a 0.75-litre stainless steel coffee boiler, a 1.0-litre stainless steel steam / hot water boiler, an Ulka EX5 vibration pump, and the E61 group head. The brew temperature is stable and consistently matches the temperature set on the PID. The steam pressure can be set up to 2 bars for quickly steaming large milk jugs with the perfect texture. Operating from a built-in 2.8-litre water tank, the Profitec Pro 600 is a semi-commercial machine ideal for the home or small office.

PID Temperature control

The PID control powers the steam and coffee boiler elements, maintaining programmed temperatures and ensuring stable brew water temperature and strong, stable steam pressure for milk texturing. The PID also has a built-in shot clock, eco mode, steam boiler on/off option, and cleaning reminder.

E61 Group Head

The E61 commercial group head is made from 4kg of chrome-plated brass, providing excellent thermal stability vital for great espresso. The E61 passive pre-infusion system gently infuses your ground coffee with hot water at a lower pressure, allowing the coffee to expand uniformly in the basket for superior coffee extraction.

Spring-loaded valves

Spring-loaded, long-life, non-compression steam and hot water valves are easy to operate and have a long working life.

Dual pressure gauges

The double-pressure gauges allow you to monitor the steam boiler and coffee brewing pressure from pre-infusion to final extraction.
