The air suction is a component of the automatic milk frother. It regulates airflow into the milk, resulting in fine milk foam. The air suction should be replaced periodically, with every 9 to 12 months being typical. A blocked air suction will lead to flatter milk (less air) and a cooler temperature.
All except GIGA and newer models that do not have an external air suction.
